Keep them clean. Keep them dry. Keep them sounding their best.
When you invest in a pair of ACS Custom soft silicone in-ear monitors, you’re getting high-performance audio built for life on stage, in the studio, or on the move. But just like any precision equipment, they need care to stay at their best.
Sweat, condensation, wax, and bacteria are the unseen enemies of your IEMs — not only can they affect sound quality, they can lead to equipment failure or even cause irritation and infection in your ears.
That’s why regular maintenance is just as important as the sound check.
Step One: Dry, Don’t Die – Meet the ACS Revivo2
Most users don’t realise that moisture build-up is one of the leading causes of IEM malfunction. Whether from sweat, humidity, or condensation trapped after use, this moisture can impact the internal components of your monitors over time.
Enter the ACS Revivo2 — your IEM’s best friend.
This powerful maintenance unit combines a high-speed fan, high-efficiency desiccant, and UV sterilisation using advanced titanium dioxide photocatalytic technology. It does two critical things:
- Removes moisture from inside your IEMs
- Kills bacteria on the surface to reduce risk of irritation or infection With a simple one-touch operation, it runs an 8-hour default drying cycle, which you can extend if needed. Want to stop it early? Just open the lid.
Step Two: Refresh Your Desiccant Regularly
To keep your Revivo2 running efficiently, you’ll need to replace the desiccant every so often. We recommend stocking up with our handy Revivo Desiccant 10 Pack — a quick and affordable way to maintain peak performance.
Step Three: On-the-Go Moisture Control
If you're travelling or on tour, you might not always have your Revivo2 nearby. In that case, drop a Silica Gel Packets into the pouch with your IEMs. They’ll help absorb ambient moisture and are colour-indicating — turning from orange to green as they fill.
Step Four: Clean & Insert with Care
To avoid wax build-up and make insertion smoother, use a small amount of our ACS Comfort Cream on the ‘in-ear’ portion of your monitors. Not only does this improve comfort, it also helps achieve a better seal and reduces the chance of causing micro-abrasions inside the ear.
Step Five: Replace Your Cable When It’s Time
Cables wear out — especially after months or years of regular coiling, gigging, and travel. If you're noticing audio dropouts, poor contact, or fraying, it’s time to upgrade.
Our ACS 2-Pin Twist Stereo In-Ear Monitor Cable is a high-spec replacement made for long-lasting, reliable use:
Built with 80 strands of 100% oxygen-free copper, each plated in pure silver Reinforced with Kevlar fibres for maximum durability and break resistance UV-treated sheathing resists discolouration and cracking Designed to fit all ACS Classic & Ambient Series IEMs made after December 2019
Note: Always avoid disconnecting the cable unless a replacement is needed to preserve socket integrity.

Final Tips:
- Always wipe down your IEMs after use with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Avoid exposing them to extreme heat, cold, or moisture.
- Never attempt to open or modify your monitors — leave adjustments to us.
